MY
FIREBIRD FORMULA LT-1 I placed my order for my '94 dark aqua metallic Firebird Formula LT-1 on September 9, 1993. Eight weeks later, on Saturday morning, November 6, 1993 I drove away from Paul Masse Pontiac in my new 1994 dark aqua metallic Firebird Formula LT-1. In addition to the extensive list of standard equipment, including the 350 LT-1 V8, the options are as follows: P245/50Z16 Performance tires, performance axle ratio (3.23:1) and four speed automatic transmission. That's it for options. No bells and whistles. No power windows. No power door locks, cruise control, exterior moldings, etc. I don't mind hand cranking windows or locking/unlocking doors with a key as my primary interest is performance. Exterior modifications include a set of "Centerline" 16x8 Billet Star Performance wheels with polished steel nuts and custom center caps. The center caps are fabricated from aluminum and pewter finished for contrast to the polished wheels and lugs. All decals, along with the front fascia logo, have been removed. The registration plates are in polished billet aluminum. The OEM radio antenna has been replaced with a small 3" aluminum unit. The car is garaged when not in use and the stubby aluminum antenna makes the use of a car cover possible without cutting a hole in the cover or removing the OEM antenna. Radio reception remains more than adequate. Interior changes include a modified Hurst shift knob and custom black floor mats with the Firebird logo in dark aqua. Performance upgrades include the following: MSD ignition control system, ignition wires and noise capacitor and many others. Over the years I have been the proud owner of a variety of performance cars ranging from a 1957 Plymouth Fury to a 1985 Corvette. The 1994 Firebird Formula to be my favorite. This is the car I will keep! Return
